What a pack returns
The value of the hits in an average pack against what the pack costs, for sets with a pull-rate study.
No set in this era has a pull-rate study.
Return is cents of hits for each dollar spent on a pack. Pays for itself is the chance one pack holds a card worth at least the pack. Top 3 cards is how much of a pack's value rests on the three cards that add most to it. Box ÷ hits is a booster box's price over the hits in its 36 packs. Hits are the rarities a study gives odds for; a pack's commons and reverse holos add a little more. * More than a fifth of the set's card value is in rarities its study gives no odds for, so its packs are worth more than shown.
