The index follows 3,752 English cards, picked Oct 1, 2026. How we count
  • Index cards. English cards that were worth $10 or more on the first of the month and whose price had moved on at least 4 of the 30 days before, without swinging past double. They are picked from what was known that day and held for the month, so no card is counted for how it went on to do. Every move, count of risers and RSI on this page is of these cards.
  • Sealed index. The same rule for sealed product: 925 products.
  • Graded cards. Cards with a PSA 10 price of $50 or more that has changed at least three times in 120 days. Slab prices rest on few sales, so every graded figure is the middle card's, not a total.
  • Set and era value. One of every priced card, whatever it costs. A card's reach in a line is capped within a month, so one sale of a rare card can't carry it.
